My photography and printmaking is heavily inspired by nature.
The South Downs National Park are in walking distance form my garden studio and it is from here that I take significant inspiration for my work. I seldom leave home without a camera and I usually return with numerous sketches, photographs, grasses and flowers, the latter two of which are then dried in one of my presses (I have several) or a heavy book, ready for me to be creative with them. I then use different Printmaking techniques (monotype, etching, cyanotype and linocut) and often incorporate my foraged plants or use them as a reference.
Please get in touch if you would like to learn more, would like some photographs or you would like to commission me for a bespoke piece of artwork . I also offer 1to1 classes and workshops to learn printmaking techniques, the cyanotype process and creative photography.
